Fresh Screen Stories

Editorial policy

Fresh Screen Stories aims to make its advice understandable, bounded and useful. We distinguish general creative suggestions from claims that need stronger support, and we correct material errors when they are brought to our attention.

Accuracy and scope

We check factual statements against appropriate sources before publication and take care not to present personal preference as a universal rule. When an article discusses a particular tool or process, we explain its limits where they matter. Our creative coverage is general information, not a guarantee of a particular result.

Independence and corrections

Editorial decisions are made for readers, not to meet a partner's preferred conclusion. If a commercial relationship affects material, we identify it clearly alongside that material. Readers may use the Contact page to report an error; we review the point and make a clear correction when warranted.

Illustrations and tools

Some illustrations may be generated with AI. We use them as illustrations, not as evidence that a pictured event, person or place exists. We do not use an illustration to support a factual claim it cannot establish.
