Fresh Screen Stories welcomes original pitches about resourceful video storytelling: a sharp explanation, a useful comparison, a thoughtful piece of creative history or a focused plan for making a small screen story.

What makes a strong pitch

Tell us the reader's question, the central idea and what the piece would help someone decide, notice or make. Keep the subject narrow enough to explain clearly. We favour evergreen subjects that do not depend on expensive equipment, specialist access or claims that need first-hand testing to be useful.

A considered approach

Good contributions explain trade-offs, respect the limits of the writer's knowledge and avoid implying that a new purchase is the answer to every creative problem. Please identify any relevant interests or relationships and do not include material you do not have permission to share.
